New Capital District Web Site!

I am very excited to announce that the new Capital District Website is now "live" at www.capitaldistrictkiwanis.org! Please check it out as soon as you get a chance.

This new site is the culmination of much effort during the last year or so. On behalf of a grateful District, I offer my deepest thanks and gratitude to PG Bob Powers, Webmaster Rosemary Cummings, Communications Chair Bill Butts and LTG Jeffrey Wolff for their contributions to this modernization project. I also thank IPG Art Riley and his appointed ad hoc Website Evaluation Committee, whose initial efforts were the impetus behind the upgrade, and Scott Smith from Kiwanis International for his superb work in developing the site.

Please note, the legacy site, www.capdistkiwanis.org, is still available and contains a great deal of historical and reference data that was not migrated to the new site. The new site will continue to evolve as additional information migrates over from the legacy site. Meanwhile, the legacy site will be "de-constructed" so that any remaining capabilities can run unencumbered by large quantities of extraneous data.
