Worcester County G.O.L.D. Thanks Kiwanis

Debbie Cole, Executive Director, pictured thanking the Kiwanis Club of Greater Ocean Pines- Ocean City, and Delores Onley, Assistant Director, visited the club at their weekly meeting which happened to be on the 3rd Wednesday of the month and therefore was held in Ocean City at the Carousel Hotel. Members of the club donate to the Priority One Program of G.O.L.D. by placing weekly donations into cans on the meeting tables labeled "Priority One". Those funds help to provide formula and other necessities for children fro Pre-natal to age 5.

Priority One is just one of the many programs which Worcester County G.O.L.D. (Giving Other Lives Dignity) provides. Among the rest are the Rainbow Fund, a general fund to assist those in need with clothing, food and other needs by providing funds through county social workers; the Baby Pantry and the ABC Pantry both of which are also provided through county social workers; and the Helping Hands for the Holidays Program making the holidays better for those in need.
