The Clauses Visit Ocean Pines

Santa and Mrs. Clause came to Ocean Pines on behalf of the Ocean Pines Recreation and Parks Department to have breakfast and to hear all the wishes of the kids (and parents and relatives, as needed) who attended on Saturday December 6th at the Ocean Pines Country Club. The Kiwanis Club of Greater Ocean Pines - Ocean City donated their time to prepare the food and help the Department of Recreation and Parks to serve the almost 300 people who attended the annual event. Hats off to Mike Howell, Director of Rec & Parks, his staff and their families, and all who helped to make the event a success, again. Attendees were asked to bring non-perishable food items and unwrapped gifts which were given to the Worcester County Sheriff's Department Christmas Program to brighten the Holiday Season. Pictured is Kiwanian, Mark Page, taking pictures of the children visiting with The Clauses who are very "intimate friends" of Kiwanian Al Kastner and his wife Carol. Funds raised from the purchase of the pictures go to benefit the local Kiwanis Scholarship Foundation.
