Key
Leader is Kiwanis's weekend leadership development program,
which focuses on the values of service leadership, specifically
community, excellence, growth, respect, and integrity.
Registration will be open soon for our spring event. Now
is the time you should begin soliciting students to attend
our March 27-29 Key Leader event at Arlington Echo, in
Millersville, Maryland. (This location is approximately
10 minutes from Annapolis and 45 minutes from D.C.) The
cost is $150/student for those who are in Key Club or Builders
Club or $175/student for those who are not. There is no
limit to the number of students who can attend per school
and this spring event is open to any current 8th - 12th
grade students. Remember, students do not need to be in
Key Club to attend.
To understand better the impact of the Key Leader program
and the possibilities for the Kiwanis Family, please watch
this video. It is approximately 5 minutes in length, and
I promise it will make you feel good to be a Kiwanian involved
with an opportunity like this and I hope it may inspire
you to seek out students with leadership potential to attend
