Forming a New Kiwanis Club and Needs Members to Charter

Kiwanis is an International Organization of Volunteers
dedicated to Changing the World, One Child and One Community
at a Time.In
order to improve the lives of children in the Salisbury,
Maryland area, Kiwanis is forming the new Kiwanis Club
of Salisbury which will participate in fellowship and service
focused on the needs of the community and youth.

Governor of Division 15 of the Capital District and a Past President of the existing Kiwanis Club of Greater Ocean Pines - Ocean City, who has been assisting in the formation of the new club; Joyce Brent, acting President; and Yvonne Terry, acting Treasurer, as they attended a weekly meeting of the Ocean Pines - Ocean City Club to observe a learn. At present the forming club has 16 of the required 25 members to Charter the club. Kiwanis membership is open to both men and women.
