Division Clubs Donate to KI Foundation

Congratulations to the following Divisions and Immediate Past LTG's for meeting the Kiwanis International Foundation benchmark of $5.00 or more per member for every Kiwanian within the Division:

All told, Capital District Kiwanians averaged $4.60 per member in contributions to the annual fund for the Kiwanis International Foundation during a challenging year of economics. This amount will automatically qualify the Capital District for 4 $500.00 scholarships to high schoolers in our Key Clubs. Had we reached the $5.00 per member benchmark (40 cents per member higher than we actually did) we would have qualified for an additional 2 scholarships of $500.00 each or a total of $3000.00 worth of scholarships for local children.
The following Division were within an eyelash of reaching the $5.00 benchmark:
- Division 5: PLG Kathryn Johnson $4.94… or just $23.16 short of the benchmark…this represents just 6 pennies per member average.
- Division 12 PLG Adam Paul......... $ 4.85... or just $ 30.15 short of the benchmark…this represents just 15 pennies per member average
- Division 13 PLG Jim Wool........... $4.91… or just $24.57 short of the benchmark…this represents just 9 pennies per member average
- Division 19 Richard Hoover.......... $4.93… 0r just $20.58 short of the benchmark…this represents just 7 pennies per member average
All told 14 Division or 2/3 of The Capital District were extremely supportive of The Kiwanis International Foundation in 2009/2010.
