The 2010 - 2011 Kiwanis year finally started with a bang. I have had the opportunity to travel and visit several Clubs and many outstanding Kiwanians in the past four weeks. We got started before October 1, when I went with Division 4 Lieutenant Governor John Morris to Middlesex to install their officers and then on the last day of September, Lin and I met with the North Central Richmond Club and I installed their offices. Kiwanis Foundation Cup Golf Tournament

The Richmond Kiwanis Club's 11th annual tournament was held on September 21st at Independence Golf Course on a picture-perfect day for golf. This event each year raises funds that will permit about 350 inner-city kids to attend Camp Little Hawk the following summer. Approximately $23,000 was raised. Rehoboth Beach Kiwanians and K-Kids greeted shoppers at the Super Giant in Rehoboth Beach Saturday October 9. Working from 8AM until Noon, the volunteers collected more than six grocery carts filled with canned goods, pasta, peanut butter, jelly, cereal, and other staples.
