Key-Leader a Success!
by Nicole McDermott and Donna Landis

The Capital District Key Leader weekend was held March 27-29 with 81 students present, plus an additional 10 students who served as student facilitators! Woo-hoo! Thank you to all of the Kiwanis clubs and members who championed and supported this program! Because of you, we reached our goal of at least 60 students and are guaranteed to have an event in 2010 and, even more important, 91 students now see the world differently when it comes to service leadership and the five Key Leader principles -- integrity, growth, respect, community, and excellence.

Please start planning in your club budgets now for our 2010 Key Leader weekend -- Spring 2010 at Arlington Echo in Millersville, Maryland. More details to follow! All clubs that sponsored at least one student to attend our 2009 Key Leader weekend will receive a banner patch and will be recognized in the next eBuilder or MiniBuilder.

ONWARD and THANK YOU!!!
