Mt. Airy Club Funds Special Books for Parr's Ridge Elementary

The Kindergarteners at Parr's Ridge Elementary School in Mount Airy will soon have access to some special new books, thanks to a recent donation by Mt. Airy Kiwanis. In the photo, Kiwanian Beth Jacobs, Chairperson of the club's Young Children Priority One committee and committee member Paul Clay, present a check to Parr's Ridge Kindergarten teachers Sarah Parsons and Amanda Robinson, and principal Ann marie Blonkowski. The donation will be used to purchase eight sets of concept books (6 copies of each title) for use in the nine kindergarten classes at the school, as well as be available for supervised home use.
