A Hearty Group of Kiwanians in Action

In spite of brisk weather conditions-- downright cold temps and gale-force winds-- a hearty group of Mt. Airy Kiwanians participated in the local Chili Cookoff in Mt. Airy on April 4. The event was sponsored by Mt. Airy Main Stream Association, and provided the club with a good opportunity to participate in a new and growing local event, be seen (basic pr and marketing), and earn a few bucks for the Welfare account! Regardless of the conditions, when Kiwanis spirit is present, it's a productive use of members time.
