Kiwanis Club of LaPlata Learns of Honors Flight Network

Earlier this month, Shannon Collins visited our club and spoke to us about the Honors Flight Network. We were moved by her stories. Our Club has decided to fully support Honors Flight Network with a donation plus we plan to visit the WWII Memorial soon as volunteers.

Check out www.honorflight.org to see the upcoming Wednesday or Saturday dates for the Honor Flight Network flights which run regularly through October. If you don’t have the time to visit, send a donation. WWII vets are dying at the rate of over 1,000 per day. The WWII veterans deserve your support now!
