Mt. Airy Kiwanis Supports Business Expo

One of the local relationships that is most valuable to Mt. Airy Kiwanis is its membership in the Greater Mt. Airy Chamber of Commerce. Each Spring the Chamber sponsors a Business Expo and this year the Mt. Airy Kiwanis club raised its hand to be one of the primary food providers as well as furnish manpower for the "Operation KidSafe" fingerprinting service offered at the Expo. The weather cooperated, over a 1,000 attended, the food cooked up and offered at the Kiwanis tent was extremely popular and South Carroll Key Club members helped man the Operation KidSafe table. The club's participation yielded both valuable marketing and pr presence as well as some profits for the club's Welfare fund.
