Mount Vernon Club Inducts Two Members

On June 16 at the Mount Vernon Country Club, the Mount Vernon Kiwanis Club (MVKC) inducted its 33rd and 34th members. Air Force Major Reid Novotny and his wife, Lauren, both joined and are already participating in community service projects and helping with the administration of tbhe MVKC website. Both of the Novotnys were active in their high school Kiwanis Key Clubs and Reid also was a member of the GWU CKI Club. The MVKC was founded in 1953, and is a partner with the largest charities in this area.
