Club Recognizes Students

The Westminster Kiwanis
Club met at the Wakefield Valley Golf and Conference
Center on November 4, 2008. Students of the month were
honored for their achievements and community service.
From left to right are; Westminster High School student
Emily Watcher was selected from the World Language
Department. Emily tutors students in French and Spanish.
She is a member of the National Honor Society. Megan
Fisher, Westminster High School represents the Family
Consumer Science Department. She is currently enrolled
in Clothing II. Megan is a member of the Lacrosse and
Cross Country Teams. From Winters Mills High School
is Tyler Czarnowsky. Tyler represents the Guidance
Department. He is a Junior honor student, a peer facilitator,
member of the Soccer team and active in Civil Air Patrol.
Catherine Fitzgerald's honors are from the English
Academy at Winters Mills High School. Catherine finished
nationally, a winner in the National Council Teachers
Award. Not able to attend from Winters Mill High School
was Nathan Diehl, from the Business and Information Academy.
