Fort
Hill Club Inducts Two New Members
by Mariellen Keely
The Fort Hill Kiwanis
Club has two new members Mariellen Keely and Mike Bennett.
Mariellen first experienced Kiwanis family as a Key
Clubber at Neenah High School in Wisconsin. When she
decided that it was time to join a service organization
she decided to come back to the group that did so much
for her. A strange twist of events, she joined in April
and was nominated to be the president elect and when
the person nominated for president was unable to fulfill
her duties Mariellen stepped up and is currently serving
as the president. Mike is a teacher at Heritage High
School in Lynchburg and after much convincing by one
of our other members decided to join and is a great
addition to our group. This photo was taken at our
installation ceremony that David Hepner and John Montgomery
were able to attend. Pictured are Mariellen Keely,
David Hepner, Mike Bennett and John Montgomery.
