Town Center Club Busy

The Town Center Kiwanis of Virginia Beach had a very busy month again working for children's charities. After a presentation of the Children's Performance Workshop our club made a donation of $500 to the group that helpsabused children cope. Our REACH fundraiser at the end of April grossed $2700 for the charity. On May 20 we held our annual Golf Tournament fundraiser at the Little Creek Amphibias Base Golf Course. About 100 golfersparticiapted and we made over $9000 for our charities. Club members also helped out at the Spring Special Olympics at Plaza Middle School. They registerd participants and our club donated and served the lunch to the Special Olympians who participated, We added another 2 members to our club this month as we continue to grow and change.
