Frederick Club Hosts 16 Visitors from Sister City in Germany

The Kiwanis Club of Frederick hosted 16 visitors on April 21 at their regular noon luncheon meeting. The group, a delegation from Frederick's Sister City Morzheim, Germany, attended to observe the Kiwanis Club conduct a meeting, interface with club members, and enjoy the luncheon served by staff at Homewood at Crumland Farm. Pictured, left to right, are Bill Watson, resident, Kiwanis Club of Frederick; Morzheim Mayor Gerhard Beckard; Gwynne Mantel, minister and interpreter for the Mayor, and Shaun Butcher, Frederick Sister City President, who chaperoned the visitors. Mayor Beckard spoke briefly to the club during the meeting.
