Poquoson Kiwanis Honors Teacher of the Year

At the May School Board meeting of Poquoson City Schools, the Kiwanis Club of Poquoson presented each Teacher of the Year a $250 check in honor of their recognition and dedicated efforts they provide the school system and youth of the city.  Kiwanis President Mike Condrey told the teachers their exemplary efforts recognized for the 2008/2009 school year parallels the Poquoson Kiwanis' initiatives to be a positive influence on our youth and community, and the Kiwanis take honor is presenting them a $250 check as a small token of recognition of their success.
