Kiwanis International President Paul Palazzolo Makes Official Visit to Capital District Kiwanis; Joins Cap. Dist. Mid-Winter & CKI 50th Charter Anniversary
A Real Treat: President Paul brings his family to visit ours!
A Photo Essay of the Kiwanis Mid-Winter & CKI 50th Charter Anniversary, and Waldorf 30th Charter Anniversary by PG Bob Cressy
February 25-28th, 2010 - Capital District Kiwanis had the great honor of hosting Kiwanis International President Paul Palazzolo and his wonderful family (right) for three days during our combination 50th CKI Charter Anniversary District Convention & Mid-Winter District Conference in Arlington, Virginia, across the Potomac River from Washington.
Paul, First Lady Susanne, daughter Maria and son Anthony first joined the Waldorf, Maryland, Kiwanis Club for their 30th Charter Anniversary with a gala celebration on Thursday, February 25th. We also all celebrated Maria's thirteenth birthday-a big one. We sang ‘Happy Birthday' (and sang it pretty well, too!)
The Palazzolos are all very personable, and Paul has a great sense of humor with a little bit of the devil there too. He has a long history in Kiwanis having joined right after high school; yes that's right high school, at 18 years old. He became the youngest International President at 38 years of age, I am told.
I think the best way to let you know about President Paul's visit is to see it in pictures. So eBuilder Editor Dave Maloney and I have given you two "Photo Essays," one on each visit.

A photo is always worth a thousand words ... well something like that. At least it is easier on the eyes and faster to ‘read'. Remember the CKI & Kiwanis Mid-Winter in Arlington, VA, was a three day event. Also being two events in one, even though we are one ‘family,' there are quite a few pictures. Something for everyone, perhaps. You'll see the warmth and the FUN. Enjoy their visit to the Capital District again. Thanks for checking it out.
