Charlottesville K-Family Hosts Super Saturday
by Jim Hart
On February 20, more than 30 elementary school kids and their parents attended the first annual K-Family Super Saturday organized by four Key Clubs and the CKI Club in partnership with Hospice of the Piedmont's Journeys program. This unique free program serves children and youth in our community who are working through grief situations. The Kiwanis Club of Charlottesville is dedicating the proceeds of its sixth annual Dogwood Pancake Breakfast, to be held on April 24, in support of the Hospice Journeys Program.
