Bernice
Grossman, Past President and PLG, Celebrates
with a Flair
by Past Gov Bob Cressy
You'd be hard pressed to find anyone who is more of a community servant the Bernice Grossman. Not at all shy about her birthday (or anything else), she was feted at her "85th Birthday Gala" by the Rockville, Maryland, community. She is a Past President of the Rockville Club, Past Lieutenant Governor of Division 17, and in business past Executive Director of the Rockville Chamber of Commerce and presently works in the Office of Institutional Advancement office of Montgomery College in Rockville. She has friends in high places, and is very gracious about it. |
|
Jennie Forehand, Maryland State Senator for the 17th Legislative District awards Bernice a recognition certificate for her service to community within the state. |
|
Immediate Past U.S. Congressional Representative from the 8th District worked many years with Bernice and offers congratulation on her birthday and thanks from the federal government. |
|
Hundreds of guests from through the community and business organization, including Kiwanians, contributed $5,000 to the Montgomery College Scholarship Fund in her name held at the Theater Arts building on campus. Happy Birthday, Bernice! |
