1. In1942 the Kiwanis International Board recognized The Pullman, Washington Circle K as the first Circle K Fraternity endorsed by Kiwanis International.

2. The first Major Emphasis Program was started in 1923, to help underprivileged children.

3. The next Capital District Convention will be held in Lynchburg, Va. in August, 2010.

4. The Kiwanis Legion of Honor recognizes Kiwanis who have been members for 25 years or longer. They may have been a member of one or more clubs.
