You're Invited to Wheaton Club's 60th Charter Night
by Dr. Helen C. Williams, President, Wheaton-Silver Spring Kiwanis
Now is time for you to stop chasing the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow because the Leprechauns have taken their fairy dust and danced all the way home. They left a message written in glitter that you are not to be sad since the Wheaton Silver Spring Kiwanis Club will have their Sixtieth Charter Night celebration on March 19, 2011 at the Argyle Country Club. We will start the evening with a cash bar beginning at 6:00 p.m. prior to the program dinner and, of course, there will be some hors d'oeuvres.
We will then continue our stroll down memory lane as the Club's very own dapper Emcee, John Dondero will serve as host for the evening and we enjoy a wonderful buffet-but as they say in show business-that's not all folks! We will have the Hubert Blake High School Jazz Band and they have promised to play some good dancing music. You must remember then, as you dress in your Saturday night best, to wear some dancing shoes, toe tapping boots or tennis shoes if that's what it takes.
We look forward to seeing fellow Kiwanians, friends and relatives of Kiwanians and just plain anyone who is ready to have a good time. To make your reservations for this event please contact Murmi Morrill. The cost for the evening is 50.00 per person and includes your very own commemorative party favor, buffet meal with dessert and good fellowship with entertainment.
I hope to see you all there!
