Salem Club Members Receive Honors

On December 13, 2011 the Salem Kiwanis Club held their annual Christmas Party at the Salem Civic Center. Awards were given to the Kiwanis Humanitarian of the Year and the Kiwanian of the Year.

For 2011, the Kiwanis Humanitarian of the Year is Glen Rosendahl. Mr. Rosendahl is an active volunteer with the Refugee Resettlement Program. Gathering and delivering furniture for the refugees are just a couple of the many things Mr. Rosendahl does for the Refugee Resettlement Program. Mr. Rosendahl is also an active member of the College Lutheran Church.

The 2011 Kiwanian of the Year is Hank Luton. Mr. Luton is an active Kiwanian and is currently Chairman for the Roy Stanley Memorial Shootout sponsored by the Salem Kiwanis Club.

The Salem Kiwanis Club would like to thank both of these gentlemen for their hard work.
