Ms Michelle Sewald, Division 23 Key Club Lt Gov, and Mr. Zach Carter, Poquoson High School Key Club President, cut the cake celebrating the club's 35th anniversary at the club's meeting on November 16, 2011. Key Club is an international student-led organization which provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership. more than 80 members of the Key Club make significant contributions to Poquoson and the surrounding community. They've been very busy in Adopt a Spot and have raised more than $1300 this year to support the Kiwanis ELIMINATE project to eliminate neo-natal Tetnus world wide. ..more

Virginia Beach Kiwanis Club and Key Clubs in the Holiday Spirit

On Saturday morning, November 19, Virginia Beach Kiwanis Club members plus Key Club members from Cox High School, First Colonial High School, Cape Henry Collegiate, and Landstown High School, all of Virginia Beach, shopped and delivered food to six needy families to ensure they had a Happy Thanksgiving. Charlottesville Kiwanis Christmas Tree Sales Underway

For the 79th year, the Kiwanis Club of Charlottesville is selling Christmas trees and hand-made wreaths to earn money to support club service projects mainly benefiting children and youth. Kiwanis sponsors Key Clubs in five local high schools, a CKI Club at the University of Virginia, a Central Little League team, and holds an annual Holiday Party for Persons with Disabiities at WorkSource Enterprises...more
