Resisterstown Club Inducts Two New Members
by Steve Jenkins
The Kiwanis Club of Reisterstown is proud to have these two new members. They are already thinking of ways to get involved with our Club.
Jerry is seen pinning his kiwanis pin on Ben Haas. For the past five years, Ben has worked as a data analyst for RPI Consultants in Baltimore's Canton area. He recently moved to Owings Mills New Town, and joined the Kiwanis Club of Reisterstown to get involved in his new community & to help the club reach out to a new generation of volunteers. | |
Fred and his wife Carole have lived in Reisterstown since 1978. He says: "I graduated from Villanova University in 1960 with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree. My first job was with Potomac Electric Power Company in Washington DC, and I then served as an officer in the US Navy. I began my career in 1965 with the Westinghouse Electric Corporation and our Business Unit was acquired by Eaton Corporation in 1994. While working for Westinghouse and Eaton I held a number of jobs in sales and marketing, most recently as an Executive Sales Engineer involved with the sale of electrical components to customers that manufacture switchgear and HVAC products. I retired from Eaton Corporation in February 2009. I joined Kiwanis so that I would have an opportunity to provide community service." |
