Invitation from Key Leader Chair

Because of your generous support, the student our District have sponsored gained valuable lessons about integrity, growth, respect, community, and excellence and now understands the concept of service leadership, the cornerstone of Kiwanis International. Additionally s/he made new friends, took risks with an outdoor challenge ropes course, learned new listening techniques, reflected by writing and verbally, collaborated with peers through many cooperative, hands-on exercises, and experienced so much more. Because of you, this student will always think fondly of Kiwanis and now thinks differently about the world around him/her.

Looking around the room during a Key Leader weekend is inspiring. So many students, all gathered together for the same purpose: to better themselves so they can better their world. What more could we want as Kiwanians involved with youth service leadership programs?

I want to thank you so much for stepping up and supporting this most recent Key Leader weekend. We surpassed our goal of 60 students and ended up giving approximately 80 students and another 10 students who served as student facilitators a very meaningful experience that will stay with them always.
