On December 12, 2010, West Point United Methodist Church presented John A. Davenport, Treasurer and Past President of the West Point Kiwanis Club, the "God and Service" award to honor his many years of volunteer service to the Boy Scouts of America. The Kiwanis Club of West Point sponsors Pack 340 in West Point.

Kiwanis Club of Colonial Capital President Art Kohler presented a sponsorship check to Hornsby Middle School Principal Byron Bishop. This will be the 26th year that the club has sponsored the tournament.
