11th New Club in Division 13!

Division 13 is pleased to announce the Official Organization of their 11th club ~ Kiwanis Club of Tidewater Young Professionals!

Twenty-seven young professionals from the Peninsula have made a commitment to serving their community by becoming charter members of the newly formed, Kiwanis Club of Tidewater Young Professionals. They held their club's official organization meeting on January 20 at Embassy Suites in Hampton. This new club will utilize what Kiwanis International calls a 3-2-1 Format. They will devote a minimum of 3 hours per month to community service, 2 hours per month to social and networking activities and 1 hour per month for a club business meeting. Alex Hazelwood, of Newport News, was elected as the Charter President of the Kiwanis Club of Tidewater Young Professionals, Also elected were President-Elect Amanda Banner, Vice President Nicholas Nunes, Treasurer Roger Baughan, and Secretary Lori Medford. In addition, the following members will serve on the club's board of directors: Nick Wallace, Philip Ragsdale, Jennifer Banner, Jamie Nunes, Rhett Scott, Patrick McMichael, and Steve Brinker.
