My Key Leader Experience
by Chelsea Stahl (La Plata High School, Maryland)
Key Leader Weekend 2009 at Arlington Echo was an inspirational three days as well as a great time for all who attended. I went into Key Leader not knowing what to expect, thinking it would be like every other workshop -- long and boring. I was everything but right! The workshops were filled with insightful lessons and fun activities. I left each one motivated to take everything that I learned back to my own community. The people that I met there were ones I will never forget, they are the type of friends I can see myself keeping for years and years. When we all left we immediately added each other as Facebook friends! The food was wonderful! Each meal was homemade, and you could really tell that the facilitators cared more about the participants than just getting it done. The weekend was one to remember and I will definitely be back next year! I urge you all to look into Key Leader.
