19 Kiwanians Work At United Way Day Of Caring
by Mike Didawick
Kiwanians from the Old Town, Blue Ridge and Winchester
clubs joined more than 500 other volunteers in the Winchester
area
to kickoff the United Way's annual campaign by working
on the "Day
of Caring". Volunteers worked on Habitat houses, repaired and remodeled other homes and
worked on numerous other needed projects. The number of
volunteers and manhours surpassed previous years' "Day of Caring" according to a press release by the United Way of Northern Shenandoah Valley.
