Past Lt. Gov. John M. Norton, Jr., a member of the Rehoboth Beach Kiwanis Club passed away November 19, at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, DE. Mr. Norton served his country during the Vietnam era with the U.S. Army. Following his military service, he graduated from Fairleigh, Dickinson University and enjoyed a career in the insurance field retiring in 2007 as an Administrative Executive for Aetna in Middletown, CT. He was an active member of Kiwanis International with over 20 years service in the Kiwanis Clubs of Windsor and Norfolk CT, Kiwanis Club of Allentown, PA and Rehoboth Beach, DE. John was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, survived by his loving wife, Karen C. (Julius) Norton; a daughter Kimberly Lynn Charest and son Christopher James Norton of Windsor Locks, CT; and three grandchildren: Kyle, Erin and Donovan.
