Mount Vernon Kiwanis Club Treats Kids to Trip to Pool

On July 9, 17 school-age children from Sacramento Neighborhood Center (SNC) cooled off in the water sports at Cameron Run Water Park. They all had a great experience, as seen from their faces in the attached photo. Their favorite was the big wave pool. Some children also enjoyed the famous water slides and swimming pools. This trip and the one for the SNC kids to the Barnes and Noble book scavenger hunt on July 16 were sponsored and paid for by the Mount Vernon Kiwanis Club.
