  IMG_5134.JPG - John Tyner, Past Governor, has been named Capital District Chair to spearhead a new program for the KIF. John presented a moving KI & UNESCO video to us. The Special Presentation on the new Kiwanis International Foundation world-wide project is called “Eliminate” Neonatal Tetanus has been named to replace the successful IDD program of the last few years. Kiwanis International, through individual and club efforts and contribution such as the Hixon program, raised over $110 Million to help eradicate Iodine Deficiency Disease. The Eliminate Program was introduced at the International Convention in Geneva in July.
