| Recognizing outstanding performance of Kiwanis Clubs in Division 17, Montgomery County, Maryland, Potomac Region, became the prime focus of Lieutenant Governor Joyce Sharon in her last Division Council Meeting of her year. Joyce knows how to throw a party ! As the thirty five plus club leaders entered the meeting room in the Leisure World Club House, they first saw this delicious looking cake … and a large supply of 'heavy snacks and soft drinks". Everyone dove in. The theme of the DCM, planned by Joyce and her presidents, was to pick an "Unsung Club Hero" from each club. Now THAT"S a way to say "Thanks". | |
